Claude 101 for Beginners

£20.46

Most people open Claude and use it like a search box.

They type one line, get something forgettable, and quietly decide AI isn't their thing.

That's not a you problem. You were handed a blank box and zero instructions. Of course it felt flat.

Here's what took me too long to figure out. You do not need to understand how AI works to put it to work. You need to know what to click, what to type, and what each tool is actually for.

That's the whole book.

What's inside

Seventeen short chapters, front to back.

Plain language the whole way. Plain diagrams. No 500-word mega-prompts. No course you'll start and never finish.

I built it in four parts, in the order a real beginner needs them.

Part One is getting set up. You pick the right plan in about thirty seconds. You have your first real conversation. You learn the five things that turn a weak request into a strong one.

Part Two is the everyday tools. Projects, Artifacts, web search, memory, and how to get Claude to hand you finished files. Real Word docs, working spreadsheets, slide decks, polished PDFs. Not text you have to reformat.

Part Three is leveling up. The difference between Chat and Cowork that trips up almost everyone. Skills. Connectors. A friendly peek at Claude Code that you're completely free to skip.

Part Four is working smart and safe. How to fix a bad answer in one more message. The privacy habits that protect your business. And a gentle seven-day plan, fifteen to thirty minutes a day, that turns all of it into muscle memory.

You also get a one-page cheat sheet to keep open while you work.

I wrote it for beginners. I built it as a creator.

I lead with creators because that's who I am and who I serve.

But every example in the book is a template. When I say "thrift-flip reel" or "Pinterest pin," you read your own work in its place. A listing. A client email. A product drop. A monthly report.

The moves don't change.

You run a small online business. You're a Substacker, a YouTuber, a Pinterest marketer, an agent, a shop owner, a side-hustler. The starting line is the same for all of us. You just point it at your own world.

What you'll be able to do

By the time you close this guide, you'll be able to brief Claude so it writes in your voice instead of generic AI mush.

You'll turn one video into a blog post, captions, and a week of pins.

You'll ask for a real file and download it.

You'll set up a Project so Claude already knows your business before you say a word.

And you'll catch a wrong answer before it ever costs you anything.

Most people use Claude like a search box. You're about to use it like a team.

Why this and not the free advice online

The free stuff is everywhere. It's also scattered, half of it is out of date, and a lot of it is written by people who forgot what it felt like to be new.

This guide is short on purpose. It respects your time.

It also tells you the truth, including the part the AI gurus skip. Claude is not always right. You are still the editor. Every chapter shows you how to check it, fix it, and own what you put your name on.

And here's my favorite part.

I wrote, designed, illustrated, and exported this entire guide inside Claude, from one conversation. That's not a gimmick. That's the ceiling I'm showing you how to reach.

My honest promise

This won't make you an expert overnight. Nothing does, and anyone who promises that is selling you something.

Here's what it will do. It gets you past the blank-screen freeze. It hands you a teammate instead of a chatbot. And it gives you one reliable workflow you can run every single week.

In seven days you won't be a beginner anymore. You'll be someone with a teammate.
